Dan is Of Counsel with the Ferguson Law Group. Dan’s primary practice is in commercial litigation. Dan has worked with and represented a wide variety of business clients, including entrepreneurs, and domestic and international corporations of all sizes. His clients have included high tech companies, consulting firms, financial institutions, financial services companies, construction concerns, real estate companies, brokers, developers, landlords and tenants, and a wide variety of other commercial and business concerns. He also advises clients on a number of legal matters that do not involve litigation, particularly in the area of contract review, analysis and negotiation.

Due to Dan’s extensive legal and business experience and nationwide contacts, Dan often coordinates and supervises litigation and other legal matters for clients throughout the United States, working with top quality law firms and attorneys in numerous locales and jurisdictions. Dan has extensive contacts with leading attorneys and legal specialists nationwide in matters that may involve highly specialized areas of technical expertise (such as personal injury, complex patent work, etc.).

Dan was born in Mullins, South Carolina. He has made Dallas his home since 1984. Dan graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Journalism in 1980. In 1984 Dan received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law. He also has an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. Dan was admitted to the State Bar in 1985, and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern District and the Eastern District of Texas, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
