John’s practice is focused on commercial transactions and commercial litigation. He has over 25 years of experience representing a wide range of companies in Texas, including several large commercial real estate asset managers and property managers. He has extensive experience with commercial real estate entity formation, litigation, financing and leasing. John also has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts in Texas, and works strategically with his clients to obtain the best possible outcome for any given legal challenge. His goal is to tenaciously represent the interests of his clients, whether in court, mediation, arbitration, merger, acquisition, or contract negotiation.
John has been in a resident of Dallas since 1976. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Southern Methodist University in 1980 and his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1985, where he was Order of the Barristers and received top honors for oral advocacy.
